Web 2.0 Training at RCC

On June 4 at 2:30PM, the Distance Learning staff will be conducting Part I: Using Web 2.0 for Online and Web-enhanced Classroom Teaching training session in Room 8171, Technology Center at SUNY Rockland Community College. This will be the first of the Improving Course Design and Teaching Series training sessions which will be offered to SUNY RCC instructors currently (or planning to) teach an online, hybrid, and a web-enhanced class.

After the training session, I would welcome your comments, reactions and suggestions for the forthcoming sessions.

  3. If my memory serves me right, this is the first workshop I attended. I usually gave them. Thanks for inviting me and opening my mind to a different space in technology. It still won't change my mind about spending so much time in front of the screen :)).

    Excellent presentaion, as always. When will we get the opportunity to create and use Wikis? They would be very helpful. I look forward to the summer sessions.

  5. Very good presentation Lilia, the people were very into the information you were talking about. I believe that there will be a good turn out for the next session. I myself found the software very interesting and very useful for teaching.

  6. Thank you so much everyone for attending the Web 2.0 Part I training session. We will schedule the next session sometime in July or August. If you miss the session, don't worry because we will do it again in the fall 2009 semester.
